Existing Member Applications

Membership renewal documentation is enclosed with the September edition of the Journal. If you have mislaid the documentation, you can click HERE for a form. Only annual membership is available for renewing members.

Please print and complete before posting to the Membership Secretary at the Treetops Research Centre. Please ensure your Membership Number is included on your form. It is shown on your Journal Mailing Label, please keep a record of it.

If you previously set up a Standing Order you need take no further action, other than to check your bank statement to ensure the payment has gone through – for the correct amount and on 1st October.

If you wish to pay in future by annual Standing Order, click HERE for a Standing Order Mandate, which must be sent DIRECT TO YOUR OWN BANK after completion. Please ensure your Member Number and surname are clearly completed in the Quote Reference box. There is no need to send the Standing Order Mandate to the bank if you set one up last year, unless you have cancelled your Standing Order or your bank details have changed.

Credit / Debit Card payments may only be made via the Genfair or Parish Chest websites. (please see the previous page for links.)

Renewal Membership Cards are NOT issued.

The December Journal (which is the first Journal of the new Membership Year), will ONLY be sent out if you renew your subscription. Therefore if you do not receive it, please check your bank statements to see if your cheque or Standing Order has been paid.

Please ensure DFHS are kept advised of any address changes.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and are willing to sign a Gift Aid declaration we, as a charity, can reclaim the UK income or capital gains tax you will have paid on the amount of your subscription This will increase the value to the Society by 28p for every £1 paid, at no extra cost to you.

If you have previously signed a Gift Aid declaration there is no need to do so again, although you must tell us if you no longer pay an amount of UK tax at least equal to the amount we will reclaim.
