Searching for Ancestors when you are adopted by Dr Penny Walters

June 25 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for an EXTRA ZOOM talk!

Have you ever found your “real” family? This talk discusses the excitement, pain and problems for an adoptee looking for relatives and researching ancestors. Collaborating with DNA matches can be a key solution.

We welcome Dr Penny Walters, a University lecturer in Psychology and Business studies, back for a third time. Adoptee Penny lectures internationally about genealogy topics and regularly writes for Family Tree magazine. Penny has published two books “Ethical Dilemmas in Genealogy” and “The Psychology of Searching”.

Zoom sign-in from 7.15 pm (UK time).

Society Members who have consented to receive information by e-mail will find a meeting invitation link, and how to donate the £3 admission, in the E-News sent about 4 days before the meeting.

Those who do not receive E-News, or who are not Society Members, are welcome to join this meeting and should use this link and select Liaison in the E-mail section to request an invitation link at least 6 hours before the meeting is due to start.
