Monthly Meetings

Meetings, featuring expert speakers, are held on the third Tuesday of each month (except August) at

St George’s Church Hall, Darby’s Lane, Oakdale, Poole, BH15 3EU

Starting at 7.30 pm (unless otherwise stated). Doors open at 7.00 pm.

Admission (including refreshments): £3.00

See the Calendar for the programme of planned meetings.

Some of our meetings are  held online on Zoom, which means we can welcome people who are not local to the Poole area to these talks. Society Members who have consented to receive information by e-mail will find a meeting invitation link, and how to donate the £3 admission, in the E-News sent about 4 days before the meeting. If the E-News has not been received, it is also available in the Password Protected Members’ Area.

Those who do not receive E-News, or who are not Society Members, are welcome to join meetings and should Contact Us and select Liaison in the E-mail section dropdown list to request an invitation link at least 6 hours before the meeting is due to start.

Unfortunately, for technical reasons, we are unable to share meetings held at St George’s on Zoom.

To reach St Georges by public transport, Morebus serves Oakdale. The Heath Avenue stop is an approximate 5 minute walk from St George’s Church and the Oakdale, Esso Garage, Library and Community Centre stops are approximately 10 minutes walk. See the Morebus timetables for details and times.
